Fairyland Blues

Fairyland Blues was written in July of 2016 in Joshua Tree, Ca. This was my obligatory folk protest song.. a tip of the hat to the songwriters of yore who did such a wonderful job of documenting the times. Although the subject material is quite intense.. ( egocentrism, politics, mass shootings) .. the song was recorded with an upbeat shuffle. It presents three questions.. three responses.. what kind of world was this? It felt like I was living in some place other than the world I grew up in. I must have been in the Fairyland Blues or something.. Hope the song resonates with you.
